Applications for the Wychavon Resilience Grants are now open
Applications for the Wychavon Resilience Grants are now open. The scheme provides £500,000 total funding designed to support voluntary and community groups to become more resilient, help improve the energy efficiency of community buildings and to boost biodiversity.
The main Community Resilience element focuses on support for voluntary organisations and community groups to become stronger and less reliant on local authority funding in the longer term. This includes areas such as leadership and governance, strategic, business and succession planning, financial planning and budgeting, skills development, such as project management, digital and marketing skills and Volunteer and staff management.
The Community Building Energy Resilience part of the fund is to support community building owners and managers to reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and cut carbon emissions.
The Wychavon Natural Networks element of the funding is for small grants for communities to make biodiversity improvements in their local areas and commission biodiversity audits and management advice from the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Applications are open in three rounds with deadlines in August 2026, then February and July 2027. For more information, please visit our website. Applications can be submitted online – Wychavon Resilience Grants – Wychavon District Council
Please note Parish and town councils can apply for community building energy resilience and biodiversity improvement grants but not community resilience grants. Please pass the message on to any groups who you think may be interested.
